           Thai currency is Thai Baht, which uses the symbol “฿.” It is subdivided into 25 Satang, 50 Satang, 1 Baht, 5 Baht, and 10 Baht denomination. The banknotes are subdivided into 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000 Baht denominations. The currency exchange rate is approximately 34 Baht per USD 1.00. Major credit cards, such as Visa, American Express, Diner Club, and Master are accepted in major restaurants, hotels, and shops.
